• Contract-based position in the Telecommunications department working on the Next Generation

Messaging Project which installed a 10 million sq. ft. private cellular network in conjunction with

Sprint

• Responsible for assisting, facilitating, and leading the transition from pagers to text-enabled

cellular phones at the BJC academic campus

• Project involved scheduling meetings and working in conjunction with department managers at

Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital in order to elicit business requirements

• Develop organized MS PowerPoint presentations for various departments to inform them of the

new messaging project

• Develop MS Visio flows and MS Excel documents which outline current process needs

• Identify existing applications and equipment that interface with the current paging system. This

includes automatic pages (such as alarms) and a variety of different paging systems that can be

initiated by the user, depending on their department
