Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK.
B.S., Mechanical Engineering, Graduated July 2005
Overall Technical GPA: 3.0/4.0
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Programming Languages: Java (beginner)
Engineering Software: Autodesk Inventor 11, SolidWorks 2009, AutoCad 2009
(2D), COMPRESS, CodeCalc 2009, ANSYS, MS Office.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. Worked as Mechanical Engineer at KOCH Industries (09/1/2008-
06/12/2010). I am responsible for designing pressure vessel and heat
exchangers using ASME codes (Sect. VIII Div 1, Sect. II, Sect. IX),
TEMA and good Engineering concepts and principles. Proficient with
computing Nozzle Loads (per WRC 107, 297) and Wind & Seismic
Calculations (ASCE and UBC). Competent in designing vessel supports,
mechanical design and structural analysis.
2. Worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Pall Corporation, designing
pressure vessels (04/11/07 - 06/30/08). The job responsibilities
included:
. Performing mechanical engineering skills in planning and designing
components and specifications required for the fabrication of pressure
vessels.
. Provides mechanical engineering support and proposes strategies for
design implementation for new product development.
. Generates design calculations and interprets ASME (American Society Of
Mechanical Engineers) codes for each vessel designs.
. Utilizes mechanical, machine and CAD (SolidWorks) design techniques
for generating design specifications for assigned projects.
. Assists plant personnel and management in maintaining ISO
(International Organization of Standardization) procedures and
requirements.
3. Worked as a Pressure Vessel and Heat Transfer Engineer (Mechanical
Engineer) at Paul Mueller Company,
Springfield, MO (03/06/06-04/24/06). Familiarize with 2004 ASME
Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Division VIII. Also completed training
in Pure Steam Generator (PSG) and Multiple Effects System (MES).
4. Worked as a member of team on a senior design project sponsored by
SuperPlay Inc. (01/2005 -05/2005). The project was to redesign and
modify certain components of an existing vortex tunnel in a trailer.
This included the implementation of redesigned parts, new components,
and existing reusable parts, and the assurance of safety concerns
arising from the aforementioned components.
