Leasing Manager
* Oversee a staff of four leasing consultants that lease 509 units of
rental space within three high-rise luxury apartment communities in
the urban, downtown business district of Dallas.
* Maintain control of all leasing activities while adhering to the
strict policies and procedures of Forest City Residential
Management (FCRM).
* Create all leasing staff schedules for adequate coverage of the
leasing office at all times including weekends and holidays.
* Provide input and recommendations to upper-level management as to
the raising and/or lowering of market rents and availability of
concessions to prospective and current residents.
* Approve and/or deny prospective residents' files for move-in and
provide assistance to the leasing staff in times when the

collections every month while meeting and exceeding the budgeted
allowance provided by the corporate office.
* Alert all residents of all outstanding balances including providing
late notices, three-day notices to vacate, eviction notices, and
miscellaneous accounts receivable resident notices.
* Initiate eviction proceedings with Dallas County and represent the
FCRM in court when necessary for resident outstanding balances that
cannot be resolved without the involvement of the court system.
* Process, verify, and approve closed books for each period at each
of the three properties at the end of each month and calendar year.
* Process all final account statements and provide these documents to
the corporate office for review and approval prior to delivery to
the former resident.
* Report all accounts payables and receivables to the executive team
for review, approval, and discussion of any outstanding income for
forecasting future months.
Marketing
* Attend and represent the company in public relations events in
association with several entities including the Downtown Dallas
Association, Downtown Dallas Residents Council, and Texas Apartment
Association to present the Forest City downtown portfolio and
develop the image of the properties and the company during the
initial phase of developing the portfolio in the Dallas market.
* Assist Regional Marketing Manager in planning events sponsored by
Forest City for exposure to the Dallas market and the ultimate goal
of leasing residential and retail space.
* Provide guidance and recommendations on creation of marketing
collateral prior to final proofreading, production, and
distribution of the print, online, and large format outdoor
signage.
* Complete Quarterly Marketing Review to ensure sufficient supply of
collateral materials.
* Work with marketing department to ensure all ILS (internet listing
sites) and print ads were accurate and up to date.
* Assist Regional Marketing Manager with implementation of outreach
