management. This software "Management Pack" is built around a common

database to facilitate one-time data entry for all manageable entities

(such as users, endpoints, MCUs, and other conference or network resources)

across all applications.

QA Test Engineer

. Performed Black box testing on the GUI and it's interaction with the

device endpoints.

. Used Quick Test Professional as the QA automation test tool to test

GUI.

. Created and executed test cases using xml format and then exported to

Test Directory.

. Areas of Responsibility - Verify software update sent to the device

work properly. Verify softupdate feature can update multiple device

endpoints (i.e. 10 or more). Performed softupdate on several different

. Used network sniffer tool ethereal tracer and sent the data to the

developers to see if it's an endpoint issue or an SE200 problem.

. Verified when performing softupdate that upgrading from an earlier

version (i.e. 7.x to 8.x) that it requires an upgrade license.

. Verified all the softupdate options - Date/Time, Remove address book

entries, Remove System files etc functioned correctly.

. Tested the softupdate profile features - Verifying the user interface

matches with device endpoints user interface.

. Test the device monitor control making sure the status, alerts, device

name, types, ip address, video number, alias site and vip information

are accurately reported back.

. Verified the send message, clear status and manage features work

properly.

. Verified the current view features - Video Feed, device information,

call information and alerts are displaying the proper information.

. Tested conference monitoring using the following options dial-in only,

dial-out only and dial in/out. Using with and without MCU.

. Tested Global Address Book feature making sure it is automatically

populated when endpoints are registered with ReadiManager.

. Tested TCP/IP setting up the IP addresses for the device endpoints.

. Communicated with QA Personnel and Developers in Austin daily since I

was responsible in updating all the hardware software versions. Also

to notify them any endpoint issues.

. Tested the autoprovision feature for all VSX models.
