am currently working on Pathways Contract Management (PCON) project, it is
software application designed to meet the payor contracts between the
healthcare provider and Insurance carrier whereas the insurance carrier and
healthcare provider has an agreement on the reimbursement charges to be
received for services rendered by the provider. This is been used by most
of the hospitals to calculate reimbursement for Claims based on various
rules and the types of services provided for each patient. Providers are
not allowed to charge the patients different from the way they charge other
patients for the same services provided, adjustments are made to these
accounts. Patients receive medical care at low cost and it generates
invoices where we can check the payor contract to get the appropriate rate
