Experienced AS/400 Systems and Applications Programmer with 20 years of

overall data processing experience and 22 years specializing on the AS/400

platform. AS/400 experience in manufacturing, retail, education and Insurance

applications with strong systems related experience in maintaining the AS/400

platform including systems upgrades,

PTF applications and remote user support. I have also installed TCP/IP in my

previous company for our Local area network to allow end users to sigh into the

AS/400 using client access, served as the security officer at Keeny Mfg, Ames

system (Customer Loan and Solicitation).

(GED) Program. Responsible for ensuring that the AS/400 is available on a 24

Maintains the GED software application. Currently responsible for the Y2K grade

of the State Owned GED system.

Responsible for developing system applications to automate operator tasks on

three AS/400 Platforms. Provide Technical support to applications programmers

and end users. Responsible for and install operating system upgrades and

PTF's on all AS/400 Platforms.

Responsibilities include maintaining and modifying code for the Warehouse

Management System, and developing functionality for WMS. Other duties

Provide technical support throughout the Newington facility. Support PC and

System 36 hardware and software as

required. Was responsible for hardware installation, cabling of CRT's and

printers using both Twin-X and Twisted pair wiring. Awarded Employee of the

Month for August of 1990.

HOMECRAFT INDUSTRIES INC NEWINGTON, CT DATA

ENTRY/PROGRAMMER 03/88 – 04/89

Responsible for COBOL programming on the NCR-ITX 9600 system using

interactive programming techniques. Also responsible for applications

development using compiled BASIC on IBM personal computers.

Responsible for custom application design, development, coding and testing.

Developed MEDCALC billing system for State and Federal Medical Insurance.

All applications where written in MS compiled BASIC.

Served 3 years as District Commissioner for Highland District.

Responsibilities include the supervision and training of the District Commissioner

all Scout units in the

district. Also serve as a member of the “Key Three” which oversees all district

events, which includes program for the boys in scouting, fundraiser’s and district

training activities.
