Applications

Odyssey - Triple A & OCS - Private Banking

AAA (Thick Client) and Odyssey Component Suite (OCS - Thin Client)

are the portfolio management systems being used for Private Banking and

Retail Banking sectors. This product is used for maintaining the demat

account and holdings of high net worth customers of the bank.

AAA is the graphical user interface and OCS is web user interface. OCS

is being used by relationship managers for keep tracking customer

relationships. AAA is being used by back office operational users for

creating clients, portfolios, operations and securities. System is built

with interfaces with core banking and surrounding systems. Instrument

prices are downloaded from Bloomberg for market value calculation of the

portfolios.

EXIMBILLS - Trade Finance

EXIMBILLS is a trade finance system designed to address the data

processing requirements of a bank's trade finance department. Its

significant impact on automated trade finance transactions can be

attributed to its parameter-driven design and on-line report generation and

transaction capability. Having firmly established EXIMBILLS as a global

standard, China Systems Corporation has made the necessary moves to keep in

step with rapidly-changing technology.

EXIMBILLS C/S is the next logical step from PC-LAN-based systems.

Running under the Microsoft Windows operating system, EXIMBILLS users can

now take advantage of Windows' graphical user interface and multitasking

capabilities to run familiar processing functions.

CARS - Reconciliation System.

CityNet Reconciliation is the fully integrated reconciliation and

exception management system from City Networks, servicing the banking,

financial and securities market places.

CityNet Reconciliation is designed to automate all types of

reconciliation requirement, and has been deployed by customers for the

Supported application in Dubai Islamic Bank:

Sungard - Quantum System - Treasury

Role : Local IT Support - Treasury. Analyzing the deals

flow and providing solution if deals are not captured or not posted into

the core banking system.

Description:

This system is used by front and back office dealers for booking,

authorizing and approving the deals. Deals will be captured by Reuters,

Barclay System, and also SCB OLT system. Then it will be uploaded in to

Quantum by an interface. The dealers will proceed the process with the

deals using the Quantum System. Once the deals are captured and approved by

the Quantum successfully then it will be posted into the core banking

system TANDOM. The interface GLPoster is used for confirming whether the

transactions are posted into TANDOM or not.

Description:

The system is designed to function in either stand-alone mode or

online mode with core banking system (eBBS). The current Fees & Charges

system allows a wide range of billing methods to be applied to various

cash management products and L/C Reimbursement rebates. For example,

users may assign default values to products that are used by all

customers, or may assess fees for specific products on a by-customer

basis. Furthermore, fees may be applied based on the volume of

transactions, or based on the customer's balance. Similarly, rebates may

be applied globally to customer accounts when specific products are used,

or may be calculated based on volume of product transactions.

The project was developed for Hindustan Lever Limited, Chennai. The

project is basically a maintenance tool for Hindustan Lever Limited. This

project keeps track of the hot teashops and their services all over South

India. This project mainly deals with the hot teashops and the

corresponding Service Organizer, who keeps track of the hot teashops. The

project is developed in the MVC pattern and the reports are generated on

monthly basis.

This project is done for the agent who gives the advertisements

in the newspaper. Users can give the details of their advertisements. Media

module is used to give the details like size, place and date for publishing

the advertisement. Creative module is used to give the design view about

the advertisement. Authorized persons only can add, edit, delete the

publications, creative request, media request. Advertisements can be placed

as packages or ordinary release. Billings, sending mails to the appropriate

person according to the process is also done.

Title : Online Shopping.

Description

In this project there are four modules: User registration, Book

registration, Credit Card, Transaction management. After logging into the

project it shows the details of the book that are available. Each book

details like Author, Prize, Publishers can be seen. After selecting the

books that can be added into the cart. After submitting the credit card

details that can be checked whether it is valid or not. If it is valid the

balance amount is reduced. Delivered book details can be maintained under

the transaction module.

Description

This application interact with Testing Team and Development team.

Testing team finds the bugs. These bugs would be corrected by the

development team. Communication between these two teams happen through

responses. The developer can view the issues that are assigned to him.

After completing the work according to the issue he can send response to

the person who sent issue.
