Service Company, Project Manager & Senior Industrial Engineer, over 2 plants. Scoped and instituted many major

Projects and Methods Improvement Programs for both Domestic and Inter-National Air Lifted Mails at the Chicago Metro

Surface Hub and AMC O’Hare Center. This included: reviewing mail flows, coordinating projects with both Internal

Departments and Contractors from concept of projects to implementation of projects, containerization of mail volumes,

and handling and processing of containers automatically and recording of volumes. Most projects were multi-million dollar

programs at both facilities and funded from Washington, DC.

Service Company, Manager of Industrial Engineering Department. Instituted major Methods Improvement Programs,

Managing the Industrial Engineering Department with a staff of 6 people. This included: A major facility expansion

program adding 140,000 Sq. Ft. building addition to the existing building. Equipment, Palletization Concept for Mail

movement nation-wide, Methods Improvement Programs for Containerization of the Mail nation-wide, and coordination of

some major container Suppliers. Most programs and projects were multi-million dollar programs in scope and nature.

Service Company, Regional-Senior Industrial Engineer, over a 13 State area. Instituted major Cost Control and

Methods Improvement Programs over a 13 State area, as Regional-Senior Industrial Engineer. This included: Mail flows

for all Inter-Related Areas & Facilities, Program Manager for Registry Methods Improvement Program, Mail Reviews of

Containerization between and amongst major facilities, and through-put rates.

Manufacturing Plants, Quality Control and Distribution Operations by re-evaluating the current ways of processing

materials and making products. Most cost reductions were in the 10-30% of the total cost. This included: Project

Scoping, Findings and implementation with Groups involved.

Savings of $1,000,000 Managing and Directing the Design, Economic Justification and Implementation of a Warehouse

Distribution Center, Finishing Operations, Quality Control and Inspection Operations.

Wells Lamont Corp., Corporate Office, 6640 W. Touhy Ave., Niles, IL, Apr. 1970 to Aug. 1972. Manufacturer and

Distributor of Gloves, Corporate Assistant Director of Engineering, over 9 Plants. Instituted Annualized Savings of

$1,500,000 Managing and Directing the Engineering functions amongst 9 Plants. This included: complete reviews of

costs by product line and instituting major methods improvements.

Price Waterhouse & Co., Chicago Office, 3100 Prudential Plaza, Chicago, IL, Dec.1968 to Apr. 1970. One of the Big

Eight Public Accounting Firms, Management Consultant. Instituted Annualized Savings to Clients of $1,250,000

Coordinating Cost Reduction Programs at various Clients. This included: Reviews of Order Processing, Data Processing,

Sales Department, Accounting Department, Manufacturing and Distribution Departments and Organization Structure.
