Designed electrical distribution systems for airports, train and subway
stations. These tasks entailed designing entire electrical systems
including double-ended unit substations for the MBTA and Massport(Logan
airport). Developing engineering contracts and bidding documents. Field
engineering for the implementation and start-up of Massport's baggage
handling system upgrade. Performed a review of fire alarm, electrical
systems and design for code compliance. Reviewed contract documents for
the Tren Urbano train system in Puerto Rico in order to verify and make
spare part lists for each station. Verified lighting levels using computer
software for street lighting on the I93 project for Mass Highway.

Responsible for the engineering and design of cogeneration power plants.
Some of my duties included designing and CADing the entire electrical
system which included underground ductbanks, manholes, power, communication
and instrumentation trays, and the grounding system. Laying out electrical
equipment, selecting and sizing cable and writing a cable schedule program
in Access. Also a field engineer on a job site assisting the electrical
contractor by responding to RFI's, reviewing the design for
constructability and inspecting the construction for conformance with the
specifications and construction drawings.
