. Working for IDF development team to design, code and installation the new

releases and any other change request in IBM COBOL, DB2. CICS, VSAM,

Sysplex platform.

. Help POS team debug D.0 defects using CICS debug tool Intertest to step

thru CICS/DB2 programs and fix the problem.

. Automation of Consumer Directed Health-Medical (CDH) system using COBOL

and REXX. The application includes AAA (DED, CAP, OOP, TRP & DOP),

LifeCAP, UPDSPAC and RXClaim.

. Automation Point-of-Sale and Claims systems using CICS DFHEXCI functions.

Mainframe Developer (for JPMorgan Chase and Bank One merger)

. Designed and coded Mapper/Rapper system which collects all JPM daily

Financial feeds, then formatted and created inter-company mapping and FTP

to ETL platform.

. Designed and coded monthly GL feed system which collects all JPM monthly

feeds, then formatted and created inter-company mapping and FTP to ETL

platform.

. Designed and coded REXX system to help the team to support the UAT

environment. It takes the variables from user entered on-line then

created Job streams and scheduling the job automatically.

. Participated in Financial Data Capture Team to analyze and design system

interface and integration to different platform.

. Designed and coded a cross reference system using COBOL and REXX.

. Coded programs to extract data and send it via FTP or NDM to the

downstream systems.

. Designed and coded the system to map all JPM/Chase company, org-unit and

center to BankOne's company, org-unit and center. The outputs of this

. Designed and code the system to convert all JPMC GL accounts to BNY

. Designed and coded PRF tracking system which provided monthly user

statistics for transaction count as well as amounts for each feed and

. Designed and coded ETL programs to load the DB2 Financial Accounting

System data for JPMC month end closing after JPMorgan and Chase merged

and converted its DB2 system to the Chase GLAS system.

. Developed Job Tracking and Feed Attendance System by using SAS, REXX and

Control-M Utility JCLs to produce daily batch job run status and feed

attendance reports.

. As senior consultant, aided the daily production support for GEAC

Millennium General Ledger system. Duties included:

o Answering questions for team and users

o Debugging and solving job abends

o Resolving application issues, and writing programs to interface with

other systems (inbound and outbound).

. Developed DB2 programs to load to allocation and reporting database

system after daily General Ledger batch cycle completed.

. Designed, coded and implemented the Currency Overflow System. Used the

Sort Utility, an adjusted input transaction sequence, and the GEAC

Autogen technique to create the On-line Journals to get around the field

size of 13.2.

. Designed, coded and implemented an On-line posting system named "GENIE",

which receives transactions from Sysbase and the Unix system and then

runs a CICS background task to post the journals to the GEAC On-line

system.

. Participated in the Y2K project. Duties included:

o Setting up COBOL MVS compiler PROC for Batch and CICS.

o Restoring DBS GL302 vanilla tapes and setting up the MDLOAD to

retrieve the sources.

o Developed a series of REXX utility programs to automate the processing

and gave advice to the Y2K group.

. Developed REXX TSO commands to transfer, backup, and restore files,

convert JCL, schedule Jobs, convert dates, interface with Control-M and

Endevor, etc.

. Developed three date conversion routines that convert any date to

Gregorian date, Julian date, and DBS date. These subroutines can be used

in batch or On-line processing. Also developed these routines for

Windows, using PowerBuilder.

IBJ Schroder Bank, New York, NY September 1991 - September 1995

. Developed a Windows application using PowerBuilder to convert a project

control system which was a Mainframe CICS system to a Windows-based

application.

. Converted OMNI Trust Custody system which was running under IBM 4341 to a

VAX based Premier Global Plus Custody system.

. Designed, coded and implemented a Money Market Operation system using

ADABAS/Natural and CICS. The system included: Certificates of Deposit,

Time Deposit, Inter-banks, Fed Funds Purchase Overnight and Term, Fed

Funds Sold Overnight and Term, Foreign Currency Deposits and Bankers

Acceptances, etc.

. Designed, coded and implemented a Leasing Loan system using

ADABAS/Natural and CICS. The system provided the general requirements for

the third party leasing loan and receivable system. It was designed on

the IBM mainframe with On-line entry and batch overnight processing. The

system contains great back value processing capabilities such as amount

changes, rate changes, payment delays or reverses, etc.

Chase Manhattan Bank, New York, NY September 1989 - September 1991

Mainframe Developer

. Designed, coded and implemented the message routing system for a major

bank. This system receives and sends SWIFT messages such as ACK, NAK,

MT010, MT011, MT300 and MT950. It receives those messages then parses

them and adds or updates it to the Adabas and DB2 through CICS/LU62 to a

remote system in London.

. Converted an ADABAS Natural I system to Natural II, Direct calls and SQL

system for Chase bank. This took Arpas, Claims, Misrev and FX data to

feed sixteen Adabas files then analyzed the model and created various

reports.

Schroder Bank, New York, NY July 1982 - August 1989

Mainframe Developer and Production Support Specialist

. Designed, coded and implemented an Interest Rate SWAP system using

ADABAS/Natural and CICS. This system handles an agreement by two

counterparts to exchange interest payments on a specified notional amount

of principal for specified period of time.

. Designed, coded and implemented a Corporate Debt system which includes

Corporate and Municipal Bonds, Treasury Notes, Bonds and Bills,

Repurchase and Reverse Repurchase Agreements, Floating Rate Notes and

Collateral Mortgage Obligations. The tool used are Cobol ADABAS and CICS

. Designed, coded and implemented a Lines and Availments system which

tracks credit exposure by clients. The tool used are Cobol ADABAS and

CICS

. Designed, coded and implemented an Assets and Liability tracking system

for bank.

. Developed an in-house system to extract the daily activities from the

current account system, then reformatted the information to send to

SWIFT, Graphnet and NDC.

. Designed, coded and implemented a Burroughs check processing system for

DDA.
