COO / Owner, Tri-Tec Management, LLC 1999-Present
Founded and sold a real estate development/construction Management Company, handling acquisitions, design, build, sales, and
consultation on energy efficient, eco-friendly residential/commercial properties, leading the company to a $225,000 annual
budget and $25million in total gross revenue. In 2009 launched a marine division specializing in yacht management, and Marina
operations. Started Economic Research and Development Inc. a nonprofit co. that has brought grants and matching funding to
Tri-Tec mgt. Developed Tri-Tec mgt. into a leader in consulting on resort development, project management, international
business, financial outsourcing, and economic research and development, including planning, operations, grant writing, and
public relations.
COO / Owner Recreational Resources Management Group, LLC 1995-1999
Developed a remote mountain resort and Spa as co owner/COO; created a 500 acre four-star resort/spa featuring extreme
outdoor recreational activities. The total project was $ 7.5 million. Initiated and operated a successful joint venture with a
French yacht manufacturer and the retired Chief Minister of the British Virgin Islands, launching a 35-yacht charter operation in
Tortola, led domestic/foreign government negotiations resulting in the successful operation of an industry leading charter
operation.
General Manager, Vail Resorts, Inc.1990-1995
Directed the design, reconstruction, and operations of a four season mtn. resort, with 20 departments, and 400 employees.
Operated a $14 million annual budget. led the expansion of a 50,000+ acre expansion. Overseeing environmental impact and
assessment studies as well as leading focus groups on joint efforts and public opinion/concern. Executed a lease/purchase of
land use by negotiating with Federal, state, country, and private landowners, resulting in one of the most successful resort
operations in the country. Served on the Colorado State Tramway Safety Board of Directors, and served as President of the
Eldora Special Recreation Program, a national not-for-profit handicapped recreation initiative.
Prior: Operations Manager at Angel Fire Resort, overseeing budgets and management for departments within a four-star
luxury resort with a world-class golf course and 10,000-acre ski mountain. Held an integral role on the design and engineering
team of one of the first state-of-the-art artificial snow making systems in the world.
