SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS
Led a team of 10 engineers on a 2 year, $750,000 project to re-design, implement and document the firm’s
networking system. This project included the migration from Windows NT to Windows 2003 Active Directory
in a 100+ server farm in 10 cities, the replacement of storage systems, migration to Exchange 2003 and SQL
2000. We implemented disk to disk backup and recovery systems using the FalconStor continuous data
protection suite. Key components of the network include 24x7 server and server room monitoring and
complete remote access to power and boot-up screens.
Promoted change at all levels of the organization by spearheading the development of a new document
production system. This included working with various departments to understand how they create
documents and developing a flexible system to meet the needs of differing document production
requirements. This was a $350,000 project that involved managing a group of 40 team members (IT staff,
legal staff and vendors). We redesigned our 450 workstations; including the build process, reducing build
errors, decreasing build time and simplifying the user interface.
Managed the re-design of the firm’s data, voice and video networks to a fully converged MPLS network. This
was 2 year, $2,000,000 project that included the replacement of network switches and VoIP phone systems.
