. Converted ERP system for a large manufacturer company from AS/400

to Oracle OPM System for four separate sites, 2 local, 1 in Mexico

and 1 in India.

. Implemented major ERP package (JBA, System 21) for large

manufacturer of magnetic laminations for the motor and transformer

industry using multiple AS/400's.

. Provide business and programming solutions for shop floor,

scheduling, order entry, inventory, scrap sales, payables, and

receivables.

. Interacted extensively with the users and managers. Taught the

current IT staff about the AS/400, operation and programming, and

about the new ERP package.

. Data collection for the Data Warehouse for inventory and shop

floor.

. Provided business solutions on the AS/400 for candy manufacturer

which include streamlining invoicing, support for EDI orders and

invoicing, barcode labels.

. Changed the accounting period for a major uniform company,

affecting all the financial files including history when they

changed their fiscal year end to the calendar year.

. Supporting the data warehouse for a large mail order catalog

company, creating SQL update scripts and converting current

reports to use the new data warehouse, mostly through stored

procedures.

. Some of the larger clients were a major PC manufacturer, major PC

warehouse, chicken processor, feed processor, clothes

manufacturer.

. Some of the major clients were Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois,

Walgreens, Comdisco.

. Most of the programming (75%) was on the AS/400 in RPG and Cobol with

the rest (25%) on IBM mainframes in Cobol.

. Some of the major clients were Lyphomed, a drug company, and Aon

insurance. All the programming was on the AS/400 using RPG.
