Verizon NY April 2006 to July 2007
Projects: One Source Project (www22.verizon.com/OneSourceSystem/):
This application is used to get all the Verizon applications like
OneSource, COFEE and VZ.com onto one common platform for their ordering and
pricing services. An Integrated Ordering Infrastructure (I2O) will support
a re-useable cross-channel platform for new product offerings and roll-out.
It will enable new product additions and functionalities with minimal
effort, regardless of which Verizon Channel requires the functionality.
I2O, will collapse duplicate infrastructures, utilizing Microsoft .NET
technologies, thereby eliminating the use of costly platforms such as
Oracle and UNIX

issues policies online in real time at the producer, sub-producer and
customer level. Arch is scalable, easy to customize, and rich in
functionality. Some of Arch's benefits include: greater flexibility and
management of quotes and associated data stored in an XML format; improved
relationships with managing general agents/agents/customers through a multi-
tier channel hierarchy; flexible policy management options using ePolicy
Solutions' Insurance Bus and Customer Management Entity framework; improved
product definition and maintenance; and an External Systems Interface
framework that makes it easier to plug in and implement new tools, such as
