years of requisite experience involving selection and procurement of various mechanical equipments for air separation

plants, chemical plants & refineries, preparation of the Front End Engineering package for Polysilicon plants,

I have E.I.T certification from state of Texas and I am working towards pursuing my P.E. license.

CDI ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS, Houston, TX 2007 to Present

Lead Mechanical Engineer (December 2007 to Present)

Working as a Lead Mechanical Engineer on various TCS/Polysilicon projects for International Clients in China (Kunming

Yeyan New-Material Co., Ltd. Plant Capacity-3000 t.p.a), Russia (LLS Solar Energy, Plant Capacity-3000 t.p.a) and

Italy (SILFAB S.p.A. –Plant Capacity-5000 t.p.a)

Responsible for delivering Mechanical portion of the Front End Engineering package which involves working with four

different technology providers: Trichlorosilane (TCS) technology, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) technology, Silicon

Tetrachloride (STC) Hydrogenation technology and Offgas Recovery technology.

Responsible for evaluation of the other technology provider’s basic engineering packages and integration of the design

from all the four technology providers.

Responsible for overall execution of all Mechanical activities including preparation of the sized equipment list,

equipment datasheets and equipment specifications.

Responsible for designing various material handling/conveying systems and their layouts.

Responsible for preparing Equipment sketches suitable for procurement and to facilitate development of supplier

drawings.

Responsible for preparing Process piping classes (which determine appropriate materials and wall thickness) and

Piping specifications complete with details of flanges, gaskets, valves etc.

Mechanical Engineer (April 2007 to December 2007)

Worked as Mechanical Engineer on Flint Hills Resources (formerly Huntsman Corp.) Energy Reduction project for a

chemical plant in Odessa, TX.

Responsible for selection, procurement, inspection and testing coordination, field and startup support for various

mechanical equipments including pressure vessels, pumps, refrigeration units, cooling water towers, storage tanks,

engineered skid packages, heat exchangers etc.

Worked as a Mechanical Engineer for development of an enhanced Front End Engineering Package for a 50 million

gal/year corn-to-ethanol facility utilizing open-art technology with input from an existing confidential ethanol producer.

Responsible for producing sized equipment list.

Responsible for developing specifications and datasheets for various mechanical equipments.

Evaluating and modifying existing pressure vessels as per client’s requirements using COMPRESS software and

applicable API & ASME codes.
