. Team Lead -- development and maintenance of a simulator (40K lines) -

simulator code written in Java -- managed deadlines -- wrote Shell

and Perl scripts to implement unit, regression, load and scalability

testing -- code shared by 3 developers and maintained in a repository

using CVS -- simulator data stored in a database (MySQL) and retrieved

using SQL queries -- utilized Unix based tools (Sed, grep, AWK) for

post processing of data.

. Developed broadcast based mechanisms for routing/forwarding packets --

this resulted in efficient utilization of network bandwidth,

increasing capacity and improving network performance -- contributions

recognized in numerous scientific publications -- coded 15K lines --

active in code development and testing.

. Extensive work on the transmission coordination optimization problem

for wireless ad hoc networks -- identified particular instances

where the problem may be solved efficiently and evaluated performance

of several alternative solutions -- findings yielded significant and

novel contributions, providing tremendous insight from a network

design standpoint.

. Extensive work on modeling state dynamics for networks using numerical

analysis, parameter estimation and curve fitting techniques -- focus
