and back end)

. Heuristic search cryptanalysis of the Zodiac 340 Cipher (Masters

Project)

(Jan 2008 - Dec 2009)

Technology: Java - NetBeans

In this project I have developed a genetic algorithm aimed at cracking

the Zodiac 340 cipher. I have built a dictionary lookup using ternary

search tree for recognizing English words in the cipher.

. User Interface Project (Home Support System)

(Sept 2007 - Dec 2007)

Technology: Front page, PHP and SQL

In this project, we developed a system which allows a family to store

all the data in one place. They are able to archive this data and

query it when required. We consider 4 main areas: Medical, Finance,

Vehicle and Education. We also have additional features like

Messaging, To-do and Reminders.

We designed the desktop and Web-based GUI and implemented the Web-

based GUI.

. Sudoku

(Jan 2007- May 2007)

In this project, I developed software to solve a 9 * 9 Sudoku puzzle

by means of elimination method. This elimination method was very fast

and was able to solve most of the Sudoku problems that were tested.

In this project we developed a plugin for a unidirectional chat window

Hex Editor: Hex workshop version 4.2

Project involved bypassing security feature in software, by studying

code in assembly language and altering code in Hex editor to bypass

security constraint.

. Shift Register Based Stream Cipher-Correlation Attack (Jan 2007 -

Involved writing code in C to find initial values of X, Y and Z

registers from known key stream.
