budget of $50 million. Responsible for daily production, maintenance and

LASALLE STEEL COMPANY - HAMMOND, INDIANA (1972-1997)
LaSalle was a wholly owned subsidiary of Quanex Corporation; a $150 million
leader in the manufacture of specialty cold finished steel bars. In early
1997 LaSalle was sold to a competitor.

P & L responsibility for Chrome Plating Division which includes the

General Manager Operations - LaSalle Steel Cold Drawn Division (1982 -
1993)
Operations responsibility for Cold Drawn Division, including production,
maintenance & engineering, distribution, and production control. Directed
the day-to-day operations of 35 salaried and 300 bargaining unit personnel
at a 550,000 sq. ft. facility also oversaw the purchase and installation of
several large capital equipment projects by engineering staff. Established
and controlled an annual operating budget of $70-75 million.
