The Crosby Group is a worldwide supplier of forged and assembled parts to

the material handling industry.

Plant Manager

For the past 3 years, have overseen the day to day operations of a 300

person forge shop. In addition was responsible for plant engineering and

maintenance, Industrial Engineering, labor relations with the Teamsters

Union including negotiating a 3 year agreement. Participated in the

implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles in various areas of the

operation.

LONE STAR STEEL COMPANY - LONE STAR, TEXAS (1997-2001)

Lone Star Steel is a world class producer of ERW steel tubing servicing

energy and automotive markets.

General Manager - Finishing

Responsible for directing the operations of 6 operating departments.

Oversee 400 hourly and 40 salaried employees with an annual operating

budget of $50 million. Responsible for daily production, maintenance and

capital improvements Involved in establishing annual company plans and

policies.

Accomplishments

Increased on-time delivery performance for all products from 30% to 90%.

Reduced operating costs by 10-15% over 2 years

Oversaw the implementation of $5 million dollars in capital improvements

LASALLE STEEL COMPANY - HAMMOND, INDIANA (1972-1997)

LaSalle was a wholly owned subsidiary of Quanex Corporation; a $150 million

leader in the manufacture of specialty cold finished steel bars. In early

1997 LaSalle was sold to a competitor.

General Manager - LaSalle Steel Fluid Power Division (1993 - 1997)

P & L responsibility for Chrome Plating Division which includes the

supervision of sales, marketing, operations, finance & accounting,

materials, quality assurance and a work force of 40.

Established "state-of-the-art" quality assurance programs resulting in

General Manager Operations - LaSalle Steel Cold Drawn Division (1982 -

1993)

Operations responsibility for Cold Drawn Division, including production,

maintenance & engineering, distribution, and production control. Directed

the day-to-day operations of 35 salaried and 300 bargaining unit personnel

at a 550,000 sq. ft. facility also oversaw the purchase and installation of

several large capital equipment projects by engineering staff. Established

and controlled an annual operating budget of $70-75 million.
