against Martin Lawrence Galleries and artist, Takako Yamaguchi, for

economic misappropriation of trademark. Substantial costs were avoided by

negotiating settlement to license trademark;

. Successfully prosecuted civil action against Panda Express for breach of

contract. Secured judgment exceeding $1 million after trial and appeal;

. Defended Dean Homes in real estate construction defect litigation and

compelled client's insurer to reimburse all settlement payments and

attorney's fees;

. Successfully prosecuted lawsuits for negligent design and construction of

a fifteen (15) thousand square foot expansion of the historic Pickfair

estate;

. Successfully prosecuted a series of breach of insurance policy cases

against State Farm Insurance Company for damage to realty resulting from

the Northridge earthquake

FINANCIAL: Asset Acquisition, Divestiture and Restructuring

. Renegotiated debt to secure multi-million dollar savings in real estate

acquisitions and restructuring;

. Prepared financial analyses for business acquisition targets exceeding

$200M;

. Mitigated risk by identifying legal and financial issues in acquisition

and operation of multi-million dollar business acquisition;

. Secured distressed company cash flow to avoid insolvency by arranging

secured line of credit utilizing personal art collection as collateral

for non-traditional lender.

TRANSACTIONAL: Documentation of Significant Business Opportunities

. Integrally involved in the creation of the Hard Rock Casino by

negotiating management agreement with Harrah's to meet Nevada Gaming

Commission regulatory impediments and drafting same;

. Overcame objections, negotiated and documented an international franchise

for the creation of 100 Burger King restaurants with anticipated annual

sales exceeding $500 million;

. Successfully closed in excess of $100 million dollars in real estate

financing.
