the financial sector based on complex event processing technology.
Responsible for the maintenance and development of documentation for the
company's liquidity management and risk analysis products, including
content development and production of new documents for additions to the

for each product. Products are deployed on Solaris and Linux systems,
with web application interface to Windows desktops. Documents are
developed in xml on Linux servers using the DocBook DTD and are
maintained in Subversion repositories for change control.

. Responsible for the documentation for the UnixWare and OpenServer
Development Kit (UDK). The UDK includes the C and C++ compilers, the
graphical debugger, the C and C++ libraries, the C++ Standard Library,
the ELF and threads libraries, and development and profiling tools such
as cscope and fur. The UDK document set includes release notes and over
400 manual pages and several hundred pages of programming guides. It was
authored in both HTML and troff-based formats, and presented for web
browsing in HTML. Edited the Java Development Kit release notes and
manual pages.
. Key participant in the team which designed the tag set for the conversion
of the entire UnixWare 7 document set to an XML authoring system. This
team analyzed the document set with regard to both content and style to
devise an effective set of semantic tags. The resulting tag set provided
for
flexibility of presentation, portability to different print and online
formats, and the ability to search by keyword or usage.
. Member of the Content Architecture Team, which determined the topic
framework in which the documentation content was presented.
. Documentation project manager for SCO's contribution to Monterey-64, a
joint development project with IBM. Acted as liaison between the writing
teams of the two companies, including writing and updating the
documentation sections of the overall project plan, developing authoring
processes, and negotiating the division of responsibilities and
deliverables.

. As a member of the C and C++ Language Development Group, wrote, edited
and delivered all documentation for the C and C++ compilers, libraries
and development tools. This included integration of information on a new
C++compiler into the doc set. Also responsible for the documentation for
the old AT&T/USL cfront C++ compiler and its libraries. That
documentation set included extensive release notes detailing the
development of the C++ language and standard, reference manuals,
programmer's guides and a collection of tutorials and selected readings
on C++ and object-oriented programming topics. Primarily responsible for
the development of internals documentation for the cfront compiler.
. Acted as a point of contact between the documentation group and the
various development groups contributing to the UnixWare Software
Development Kit. Developed and delivered the SDK Overview and
Installation Guide (release notes). Participated in the planning and
delivery of all SDK documentation to the integration process.
. Coordinated the review, update and delivery of the NetWare developer's
guide and API reference which were delivered as part of the UnixWare SDK.
. Responsible for the delivery and maintenance of documents in three source
formats: SGML, FrameMaker and troff-based macros. Participated in the
conversion of the troff-based UnixWare document set to SGML and browser-
compatible formats.
. Wrote and edited copy for marketing and sales collateral pieces, such as
product description sheets, direct mail pieces, articles, press releases
etc.

Machine, a parallel architecture graphics processor. The libraries were
written in C in a Sun/UNIX environment. Primarily responsible for the
user guide, reference manual and release notes for a new image processing
software library. Participated in planning and implementing
documentation and training materials for the Pixel Machine's second-
generation product. Also participated in ongoing documentation creation
and updates for simulation, ray tracing and graphics libraries and a
software development toolkit. Participated in the preparation and
production of marketing materials and proposals.

. Wrote, edited, produced and maintained documentation for the company's
compiler products. Each set of product manuals included a Language
Reference, User's Guide and internal system documentation. Compilers

RPG and BASIC, as well as symbolic debuggers. Some of these manuals were
required to conform to Department of Defense standards. Supervised a
staff of writers working on these projects.

Honeywell systems and various peripherals.
