. Remote Method Invocation - Designed a client server application in

Java using java.rmi package to remotely access the object at the

server side by the client and invoking a desired method on the object.

Also developed a GUI for the user to interact with the system, the

connection between server and client tells GUI to be displayed on the

client system.

. Research Work On Fault Tolerance - Presented a paper on Fault

Tolerance in Distributed Systems with emphasis on providing an

algorithm that enhanced the replication based approach for fault

tolerance in distributed system. Various simulated results were

studied such as Latency. Analyzed IEEE and ACM published paper on TCP

server fault Tolerance and Byzantine Fault Tolerance.

. Web Based Portal for Students - Designed a Java based application

which was implemented using JSP's and Java servlets. The application

provided can be used as a central system where students can register

for their class, post their discussions and faculty can make

announcements.

. College Website - Developed a website for the college using HTML,

JavaScript. Open source scripts were used for the discussion forums

for communication between students and faculty.

. Help System - Designed a Help System Using the HTML help Workshop for

an application named Gossip Tracker. Also integrated the Help with the

application using .Net.
