Operations Manager

Direct responsibility for coordinating customer satisfaction for Daimler

Chrysler's Toledo North Assembly Plant (TNAP) and Toledo Supplier Assembly

Plant (TSAP). I had 3 supervisors, 1 plant liasion and 42 hourly

employees reporting to me. Primary reponsibilities included budgeting

hours based on production, ensuring and tracking productivity goals daily

and weekly based on customer needs and expectations; attending weekly

meetings with customer to address any issues that arise before, during and

after production; ensure that correct parts were sent when called in both

bulk format and individual part sequencing; and inventory counts daily,

weekly and monthly, which are then reported to customer to ensure proper

level of parts. Experience in both dealing with PAB (pay as built) and EOP

(extension of plant) customers. Also responsibile for implementing the

QMS systems for entire facility including writing work instructions,

performing CAPA's and forklift certification. Well versed with two labor

unions, UAW and Teamsters, and with two different contracts.

Direct responsibility for ensuring that all bargaining unit employees are

delivering product and customer service to the Coca-Cola Company's

standards to my 3,000-plus accounts. I had 87 hourly bargaining unit

employees and 3 Distribution Supervisors reporting to me. Primary

responsibilities included setting the operating budgets for the entire

distribution department, including tonnage goals, haul backs, cases per

truck, cases per stop, and damage control; hiring and training all

bargaining unit employees including CDL training and DOT requirements as

put forth by the State of Ohio; and customer service issues and/or

complaints. Furthermore, I was a member of the Coca-Cola National Strike

team, Safety Committee, and the negotiation team.

District Sales Manager

Direct responsibility for the Sales and Distribution of 2.1 million cases

of Coca-Cola products to 454 area accounts. Primary responsibilities

included supervising 5 account managers including conducting performance

evaluations, discipline and offering employee incentives;

forecasting/ordering the entire Toledo Sales Center (4.5 million cases)

totaling over 400 SKU's on a weekly basis; setting volume and cash

operating profit (COP) budgets and achieving those goals on an annual

basis; setting up Category Marketing Agreements (CMA's) with local

retailers to enhance the sale of Coca-Cola products; dealing directly with

high level managers from national grocery chains including Kroger, Meijer,

Foodtown, Speedway, BP Oil and Farmer Jack to set up local marketing

programs as well as handling sales and service issues with them; and

conducting weekly sales meetings for the entire Toledo Sales Center.
