Responsible for managing a global team of Supplier Quality Engineers and
Purchasing/Procurement Managers with direct reports in the United States,
Canada, Mexico and China and over 350 suppliers worldwide. Duties include,
but are not limited to, supplier evaluation and selection; contract and
price negotiations; granting/awarding contracts; identifying the best

to supplier base responsible for production, distribution logistics and

Material/Supply Chain Integrations - Assist suppliers with communication
and supply chain processes/integrations to ensure optimal customer service

plant's Quality/Process Control activities, verify the quality of processes
and procedures of the Quality Management System (QMS) ensures process is
functioning according to the plant's Quality Policy. Reviews, documents and
reports on the status of the quality assurance activities performed by
those under my supervision and reports to Quality Director. Documents
reviews, plans implement corrective action and causes to happen corrective
or preventive actions deemed necessary due to poor performance, ineffective
procedures, etc. Provides training for employees in operations on all
aspects of the QMS. Creates and maintains a filing system that documents
the effectiveness of the quality assurance practices of the QMS.

Worked with the product development engineering team to develop testing and
product screening procedures for the automotive industry. Develops,
modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards for the assembly plant.
Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and
evaluating the precision and accuracy of parts and products received from
vendors. Designs or specifies inspection and testing of parts; conducts
quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the
cost of, and determine the responsibility for, parts that do not meet
required standards and specifications.
. Selected by my supervisor to work with Lear Arlington to improve their
quality control plans and containment measures to ensure GM Arlington
received quality parts.
. Worked with Key Plastics to improve the quality of the products they
provided to our plants. This resulted in a reduction in the amount of
downtime and replacement of defective parts. Saving GM and Key Plastics a
combined total of $7 million also improved Key Plastics' vendor rating.

7/99-8/00 Company Executive Officer: Responsible for the training,
readiness, health, morale, and welfare of 130 soldiers and their families,
also manager of an annual operating budget of $150,000. Commanded a company
of 130 soldiers in the absence of the commander.
. Responsible for the combat readiness of 22 M93 FOX NBC Reconnaissance
vehicles; 16 wheeled vehicles; and associated equipment valued in excess
of $50 million.
. Personally recognized for saving 2/3ID over $30,000 on deploying squads
to Ft. Stewart, GA and Ft. Irwin, CA.
. Responsible for coordinating the deployment of 25 soldiers and 6 M93 FOX
Recon Vehicles valued at $13 million to Ft. Irwin, CA.
12/98-7/99 Reconnaissance Platoon Leader: Leader and primary trainer of a
35 man Reconnaissance Platoon prepared for immediate worldwide deployment.
Maintained and accounted for $18 million worth of platoon equipment.

slots as a platoon leader in 51st Chemical Recon Company; the only pure
chemical reconnaissance company in the US Army.

training for 580 soldiers. Designed and implemented maintenance tracking
