Major Achievements:
. Achieved best on time delivery (95%), lowest percentage of rework (2%)
among all 11 manufacturing plants and premiums collected for expedited
work exceeded overtime spent by 70%.
. Increased employee efficiency from 55% to 80% and implemented 5S and

Operations Manager (2004-2007) Manchester, CT manufacturing facility
Retained largest customer; reduced costs to maintain pricing. Using Lean
methodology utilized a task force to evaluate every step of the
manufacturing process, evaluating costs, raw material, manpower and waste.

An FAA facility involved in the overhaul and repair of Jet engine blades
and vanes for US Airlines and Government.

Made major changes in the facility to take advantage of increases in orders
from major airline companies. Changed the layout and processes to a cell
manufacturing concept with 4 unique cells resulting in improved parts flow,
more efficient scheduling and better turn times as well as a 90% reduction
in setup times.
Major Achievements:
. Drove revenue increasing from $2.5M in 1995 to $16M in 2001 by
developing process changes in production that increased productivity
by 25%.
. Developed new business with US Air and Delta.
. Negotiated better competitive pricing for all sub-contracted services
required which helped drive up profits.
. Expanded operations to a satellite facility that expanded capacity and
improve work flow in cells.
