•Negotiated pricing and purchased products in the commodities for boots, inserts,
grease/lubricants, dampers/couplings, clamps, foam products, torque systems (viscous
couplings/ETM’s), castings, sealants, seals/gaskets, and all rubber products ($44 million in annual
turnover).
•Global Team Member that involved interaction with CPMs (Commodity Purchasing Managers)
and CPDs (Commodity Purchasing Directors) for boots, clamps, grease and torque management
•Interfaced with the A/B engineering groups in Auburn Hills. Created opened communications to
insure proper product compliance.
•Being bilingual (English/Spanish) strengthened relationships with Velcon Mexico, GKN Spain and
other overseas Spanish speaking suppliers for all commodities in the department
•In volved in sourcing a new product for torque division of the company and set the cost
benchmarking targets

•Led interface between GKN and Tochigi Fuji USA (TAM) creating savings of over $600,000.
•Created annual savings of $700,000 for VAVE for grease, $80,000 for boots by moving from
Flambeau to ABC and $85,000 for dampers by moving from Woco to Arteca.
