Project Manager
• Led cross functional teams, built collaboration between departments, deliver results and managed more than ten
projects at a time in multiple states and jurisdictions across the country.
• Responsible for the improvement, development and tracking of all construction build out projects including
remodels, new locations, relocations and closures within White Cap.
• Developed cost and time saving process improvements relating to the management of construction projects by
decreasing the cycle time by 50% to complete projects yielding nearly 1.5M in savings to the company.
• Facilitated weekly calls for all active projects which included a contributing member of each functional support
area (operations, HR, IT, merchandising, build out, real estate, A/P, credit, inventory control, local management,
outside consultants including fire life safety, architects, general contractors) - coordinated resources, timing of
tasks and owners of each in order to monitor and document all projects from start to finish.
• Lead planner / project manager on the remodel of the Texas Land and Cattle/Lone Star Steakhouses - ordered
owner supplied materials managed General Contractor schedule and progress payments.
• Created and updated the weekly site development summary (executive summary) and distributed to the corporate
and branch leadership teams - meant as a snapshot of all real estate / build out projects.
• Created and successfully implemented the planning processes that were used in (18) new green field branches,
(40+) remodels, (12) relocations and (20) close out process.
• Successfully project managed the relocation of the White Cap corporate offices from two locations into one new
location in one weekend with 6 months of planning/build out on time and 10% under budget including all change
orders with all associates up and running on Monday morning as scheduled. Worked as owner representative with
the architect and general contractor. Purchased and coordinated install all new fixtures and furniture.

Lead Store Planner / Regional Set up Supervisor
• Schedule and develop accurate fixture and merchandise plans using standards working closely with merchants
and architects for new stores, major and minor remodels and reset .
• Maintain store planning specs for all surveys, safety, kick-off and start up documents. Work with architectural
consultants to maintain company standards and ensure consistency from project to project.
• Coordinate pre opening strategy meeting, kick off meetings, shell plan/fixture plan 90% review meetings with
architects, construction managers, real estate rep, merchandising, operations and outside consultants.
• Coordinate and schedule multi-state / multi contractor roll out of the new top shelf safety net program, purchase
all materials, maintain overall schedule, issue contracts, verify invoices and approve for payment.
• Supervised contract labor for quality and for maintaining the critical path including fixture display contractor,
racking and interior sign installer. Visit projects for job progress, Generate scope of work, issue contract, verify
invoices and approve for payment.
• Developed three versions of the new fixture and merchandise prototype used throughout the country.
• Develop and maintain all current Plan-O-Grams working with individual buyers and implement with fixture
display contractors in new stores and resets. Coordinate display fixtures with vendors and buyers.
• Maintain change order log and overall budget for each project, keeping total dollars per square foot at or below
established metric.
• Order all fixtures and equipment, responsible for accurate counts on pallet and fixture orders. Maintain the
template for rack, display and signing contracts.

Architectural Planner
• Plan, prepare, schedule and supervise fixture and merchandise designs for new or remodeled warehouse buildings
with Auto CAD R 12 and 13. Route preliminary layouts to all concerned for review and or approval.

operations, outside architects and senior management .
