Project: Upgrade the current DCTM 6.0 SP1 environment to 6.5 SP2

Description: The project involves setting up a sandbox environment to

analyze the 6.5 SP2 components. The idea is to analyze and

upgrade Webtop and make all the necessary changes. This

involves changes at server as well as client level. All the

necessary components i.e. ADTS, FTI, Database (Oracle 10g

to 11g) etc are upgraded accordingly. The application is to

go live in PROD in mid-Mar '10. Currently we are carrying

out the necessary testing in the sandbox environment before

moving to QA and UAT and eventually PROD.

Responsibilities:

. Analysis of Webtop components and changes during upgrade from 6.0 SP1

to 6.5 SP2 to accommodate the changes in custom code.

Project: TaskSpace implementation as a Workflow Management tool for the

Underwriting and Claims Business users

Description: The project involved extensive work in the BPM suite of

products i.e. Process Builder, Forms Builder etc. The first

phase of the project involved the implementation of complex

workflows as part of various business units for the

Insurance Client's Underwriting and Claims division. It

involved the implementation of the workflows in TaskSpace

6.0 SP1 and integration with WebTop, Captiva and LDF and

other source systems like Mainframe and legacy systems like

Intelligen. The second phase of the project involved

upgrade and migration to Documentum 6.5 SP2 environment. It

started with the impact analysis of all the customized

components in the migrated environment. The complicated and

challenging part of the project was resolution of some bugs

that were not yet fixed in the product suite, as the 6.5SP2

version was quite new in market. This involved a lot of

research and development effort but in the end was a

successful implementation. The project is now in the

support and maintenance phase and is quite stable.

Description: The project involved the assessment of current Calligo

environment in XL. The current system is highly unstable

interruptions. The assessment involved studying the current

recommending tactical as well as strategic solutions based

on the feedback obtained by the respective stakeholders.

This project involved completing the assessment report as

well as a proposal that would involve upgrading the whole

system to the latest technology in the Insurance market

dealing with document handling and creation.

Project: Swiss Re Migration and Refactoring of EDMS

Applications

Description: The project is to do major migrations followed by

refactoring of 7 important EDMS applications that involved

moving to the global repository under the GOAL

(Globalization Of Application Landscape) initiative. Later

on this project also involved applying Retention Policies

on the Claims and Technical Accounting documents moved to

this globalised repository. IT involved the RPS tool of

Documentum. The migrations were done using a custom

framework where the actual migrations of documents were

done using the Buldoser tool. Operational support

predominantly includes support of production refactored

environment. In addition to the support services, TCS

services would also be required in Testing and

decommissioning of legacy applications. The project will be

delivered using TCS' proven on-site / offshore development

methodology under clearly defined processes. TCS will use

its proven, ISO 9001-2000 certified and enterprise-wide

CMMI and PCMM Level 5 assessed, methodology for carrying

out the various activities that fall under the scope of

services.

Project: FS- EDMS, Financial Services for the Electronic Documents

Management Systems division

Description: DocIT is an application that is developed as a customized

WebTop product. It is part of the Financial Services domain

undertaken in Swiss-Re. Based on the business context i.e.

companies, deals and trades the documents are managed

accordingly in various folder structures. All the important

Insurance domain documents are hence managed in an

efficient way through DocIT. DocStore Migration: The

documents present in the Docstore application had to be

migrated to two different applications called UWC (Under

Writing Cockpit) and IUF/POR (Integrated Underwriting

Facility Portfolio). This was based on the business context

of the source documents. Initially a rendition script was

to be prepared as the migration was later on to be carried

on the rendition of the source documents rather than the

source document itself.

CDM Migration: It dealt with migration from an existing

application called Complex Deals Management to a Documentum

application called DocIT. The documents have to be migrated

to the Documentum repository according to the XML format

definition defined for them

Responsibilities:

Project: FESCo Systems Document Repository

Description: FESCo Systems Development associates author and retain

many documents in support of the system development

lifecycle. The lack of standard storage procedures and

media for documentation has been an area of concern in the

current system. Documents are often difficult to find

because of decentralized storage media and the ineffective

search capabilities of the media. The objective of the

project is creation and implementation of a standard

departmental document storage policy for the documents of

FESCo systems. This would provide:

Description: The project involves the analysis, design and development

of a knowledge management system that promotes an

integrated approach to identifying, managing and sharing

all of TCS's information needs. These information assets

may include databases, documents, policies and procedures

as well as previously unarticulated expertise and

experience resident in individual associates. KM focuses on

organizing and making available important knowledge,

wherever and whenever it is needed. The scope of the

project involves content management, search features,

security, and workflow and lifecycle management of the

knowledge assets. The project team consists of 15 members.

Responsibilities:

. Gathered requirements for the development of Meeting Manager and

Scorecard tools

. Designed the database for the Meeting manager and Scorecard tools

Description: This product is based on the B2B domain. To transfer the

various business documents between partners it requires the

creation of process XML and the final packaging, which was

then done in the middleware manually. This tool was thus

required so that the manual work which was done in 2 weeks

of time can be reduced to less than a day. This product is

now an asset to WBIC product of IBM which not only saves

valuable time but also the effort required.
