ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Electrical Engineer designing power and control systems for pipeline pump
stations: including designs for across-the-line, soft start and VFD motor
control for low voltage and medium voltage distribution. Design and detail
process control schemes that require PLC interface to motorized actuators,
flow and temperature sensors, main pump motors and satellite communication
to SCADA system.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
. Resolved client's nuisance tripping problem by presenting client with
a much more reliable and compatible "capacitor trip" option
Result: Alleviated nuisance tripping to avoid costly down-time for 5
medium voltage
substations serving pumps and compressors on El Paso Energy's coal bed
methane fields.
