Extensive experience in the information technology industry working as a
Systems Architect. Responsibilities included providing billable system,
database performance and application programming support to a wide variety
of Fortune 1000 companies across the US. Subsequently assigned as a
Technical Solutions Manager and developed custom Managed Operations

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
IBM GLOBAL SERVICES, Armonk, NY 1997 - 2009
TRANSITION PROJECT MANAGER 2008 - 2009
Performed as the Project Manager to implement MainFrame and MidRange based
datacenter environments during the transition period for the implementation
of I/T services (i.e., at the end of the sales cycle continued on with the
client after contract signing to create various project plans, then lead
problem resolution efforts and negotiated changes in scope following the
due diligence phase).
- After the successful $4.5M contract re-negotiation effort also
participated as the Transition Project Manager for that semiconductor
manufacturer's datacenter move and migration efforts that were
satisfactorily completed on time and within budget.
TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS MANAGER 2005 - 2008
Introduced a new Linux based offering and associated virtualization
capabilities as part of ten proposals in the effort to drive the value for
those clients seeking to leverage existing investments in their traditional
datacenter environments.
- The outcome of these proposal efforts resulted in four re-negotiated and
signed contracts worth approximately $6.7M over 5 years generating 3
additional points of GP margin improvement.
SYSTEMS ARCHITECT 1997 - 2005
Developed MainFrame and MidRange managed operations solutions providing
technical support on multiple sales engagement opportunities throughout the
I/T managed services industry RFP and bid process cycle (i.e., jointly
develop business requirements with the client, then customize and negotiate
a cost efficient solution).
- Teamed with various Industry executives and performed as the lead Systems
Architect for a total of 39 RFP opportunities to develop appropriate I/T
service solutions resulting in signed contracts worth approximately $89M
over 10 years with 11 different clients.
- Performed as the lead Systems Architect with responsibility for the
successful implementation of a PC Workstation HelpDesk for a large
research, development and manufacturing company in Rochester, NY. The
average end user satisfaction rate for this HelpDesk was measured at 92%
over a four year period.
- Performed as the lead Systems Architect with responsibility for the
successful migration of a NYS government transportation agency's
hierarchical database structure over to a relational platform.
- Performed as the lead Systems Architect with responsibility for database
performance analysis and tuning modifications for a Northwest PA electronic
parts distributor.
