dollars of new revenue. My specialty is to prospect, identifying qualified projects, talk
to the right people, allowing our company to quote and close the sale. The focus on the
equipment or services I specialize in is process optimization, and quality by design. I
utilize a forecasting pipe line mentality focusing on closing efforts and sales

As the Executive Account Representative I am responsible for generating new accounts
selling processing equipment, with my territory in the North East. Some of the equipment
allowed the customer change from a batch process to a continuous method. This increased
productivity by decreasing waste, and down time due to feeding and discharging. It also
took a process with traditionally took 6 hours down to 1 hour, by feeding uncoated tablets
in one side of the machine, and discharging completely coated tablets. At 2000 kgs/hr,
this system replaced processing 4 x 500 kg batches @ 1.5 hrs per batch. The continuous
process has also been identified in a more acute sector of the process, which would
eliminate a number of individual steps including scale up. This process change results in
millions of savings since scale up is a non productive manufacturing step. My sales
efforts are targeted to all levels of the pharmaceutical industry, including R&D,
clinical, and production systems within a company. In this position, I was responsible for
over 40 existing accounts and added 12 new accounts with total volume over 2.5 million in
annual revenues. I meet with different segments of the industry, which include end users,
engineering companies, research companies; contract manufactures form the pharmaceutical
and vitamin manufactures industry, performing presentations to all levels of the client.
These levels included maintenance up to top level engineering.

As a Regional Sales Manager: I was responsible for selling equipment for optimize the
material handling operation of the manufacturing process. This included minimizing the
human act of scooping and replacing it with drum manipulation equipment coupled with
special discharging valves. This permitted a more uniform discharge of material so the
actual process wouldn't choke and clog. In addition the discharge time was reduced almost
50 % without any human intervention. To expand on this concept, and IBC ( Intermediate
Bulk Container ) was used to consolidate the number of drums into one container, from up
to 6 drums into 1 IBC. This eliminated the down time in changing drums. Also the entire
process from the dispensary (where the raw materials are fed into the IBC) through
blending, into the final compression can be done without changing containers. I also
specialized in sanitary butterfly valve applications.
