To HR
My name is Vincent Li. I'm a hard working and responsible person with
great interpersonal and communication skills. I'm very interested in
developing a long term career at your company as an engineer, technician or
research associate. I have worked in various research-associate positions
where I have developed quantitative and analytical skills. I've also worked
in Beckman Coulter as tech support engineer and gained great instrument
trouble shooting, maintenance, calibrating and repair skills. I now work at
international process solution as a calibration and maintenance technician.
IPS sub-contract me to Impax, I've learned how to calibrate and maintain
complex systems in Impax. I go into GMP environment everyday. I have always
been passionate about bio-technology and graduated with bio-chemical
engineering degree from UC Davis. I really want to get back into a real bio-
tech position where I can continue to develop process related skills.
Moreover, I'm a very dedicated and devoted person so I should become a very
contributed employee in your company in a short time. I'm also a good team
player. I'm proficient in Microsoft Office after taking these finance
classes.(MS Excel, Words, PowerPoint and MS Project) Thank you.
My supervisor at IPS can give me very good references. I'm opened for
any shifts and even weekends and nights. The reason I'm applying is because
I don't want to cross the bridge. I want a job that is closer to home so I
can be more devoted to the job. Impax is a little too far for me.

skills. Disassembled the instruments into pieces and put them all back
together within the specifications.
. Received Trainings on safety rules, compliance, pumps, motors, blowers,
electrical boards, refrigeration systems.
. Wrote installation procedure for HEPA filter.
. Monitored the cost of parts usage and instrument replacements.
. Prepared PowerPoint presentation for instruments' training classes.
. Organized and monitored field evaluations of current and new products for
customer acceptance and validation; teamed with engineering and other
departments to troubleshoot instrument problems.
. Determined the need for product design improvements and methods to
implement; assessed the impact of projects on after-sale costs in order to
compete with competitors' products.
. Successfully identified the cause of leak problems along the
refrigeration line of a centrifuge and implemented changes on the designs
of the refrigeration line in order to save company's money.
. Initiated, designed, developed and implemented complex product
improvements and changes where analysis of situations or data required an
in-depth evaluation of various factors.
. Participated in product definition and specification development; and
developed and monitored test protocols to access feasibility of product
modifications; and prepared service documents.
. Demonstrated excellent team work, organizing and leadership
experiences/skills on solving technical issues. Interacted with different
departments in order to solve technical problems.
Research Associate (3/21/06 to 6/15/06) Elan Pharmaceuticals-South San
Francisco, CA
. Conducted Antibody ELISA and Pharmacokinetics testing of serum samples
for pre-clinical and clinical studies.
. Project: TYSABRI. Measured Serum Antibody Titer on a standard 96 wells
plate.
