Developed and provided training to employees to meet ISO 9000 and 14001 requirements. Also provided audits with
feedback to ensure continuous improvement of the controls.

company to ensure regulatory and machine risk exposures were controlled and met all standards.

and controls for clients in casting foundries, heavy manufacturing, and saw mills. Provided safety, regulatory and
operational training to all levels of the operations.
Safety and Health Manager, Kimberly Clark Corporation, Specialty Products Division, Lee, MA (1993 –1995)
Managed operational safety, health, and environmental programs for Specialty Products paper mills.
Implemented a Process Safety Management System in a unionized work environment that contributed to a 75% decrease
in reportable injuries along with a 50% decrease in lost time injuries over a two year span. Worked on team development
and preparation of operational management system requirments for the ISO 9001 certification process. Provided
industrial hygiene and environmental sampling support to meet employee health improvement as well as environmental
regulatory requirements.
Developed and chaired a Labor/Management Safety Steering Committee that was responsible for Accident
Investigations, Safety Program Development, Ergonomic Committee, Workplace Behavioral Safety Audits, Machinery,
and Workplace Redesign.
Managed environmental programs, including air quality, chemical handling systems, hazardous material, permitting,
spill response and waste-water treatment. Developed the chemical management systems and worked with

A reduction in aircraft related ground damages by approximately 30 percent in the first year.
Contributed to a 50 percent reduction in personal injury frequency during the first year.
Developed material handling related safety processes that included aircraft baggage loading as well as servicing
exposures that decreased ergonomically related injury frequency by over 50% and a 75% reduction in costs in the first
year after implementation.
