. Functions as a Network Design Engineer responsible for designing

classified and unclassified Department of State foreign posts

(Embassies, consulates, diplomatic post overseas) and domestic posts

. Establishes communication with post staff - Information Management

Officers, Information Management Specialist, and Information

Professional Officers - for the data validation phase until the design

package is complete

. Uses Network Management tools such as CiscoWorks, Cisco Campus

Manager, iPost, TAVVE, and eScore to probe and validate post's network

equipment such as servers, switches, routers, and workstations as well

. Uses information retrieved using Network Management tools and

communication with post to validate, propose, and design the network
