Dear Hiring Manager,

I'd like to talk to you regarding an opportunity to apply my supply chain

experience in purchasing and materials management with Hunter Douglas and

my determination to succeed with your company. Having completed the

successful consolidation of five west coast plants into a state-of-the-art

facility in Sacramento, CA I'm looking forward to relocating back to the

east coast to take on new challenges.

As Materials Manager of Hunter Douglas' west coast operations I direct the

purchase, receipt and handling of all raw materials and packaging to

support manufacturing across five production departments. By leading a

diverse inventory management team of buyers, receivers and material

handlers, we've reduced inventories without negatively impacting the

availability of raw materials or packaging. We also significantly improved

on KPIs leading to a positive financial impact on the company. These

accomplishments and my desire to work on optimizing the strategic supply

chain areas of cost and customer satisfaction drive my search towards new

opportunities.

The attached resume details my work history which focuses on adding value

and my continuing education in supply chain management at the graduate

level. I look forward to hearing from you about any opportunities

available.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

David Kulp
