OBJECTIVE

A research career to explore the chemistry of materials and to expedite

the application of the achievements of science to new technologies,

through the synthesis of new materials, characterization and elucidation

of structure/property relationships.

RESEARCH INTERESTS AND EXPERTISE

Organic synthesis: total synthesis of heterocyclic compounds for

biological activity study; methodology research; macromolecular synthesis

(free radical polymerization, ATRP); polymer functionalization; colloidal

synthesis. Polymer films: nanofabrication of thin polymer films; multi-

component polymer systems for advanced applications; polymer/nanoparticles

composites. Organic optoelectronics: semiconductive polymers;

fabrication, emission testing and optimization of organic

electroluminescent devices.
