Areas of Expertise
Cost Control
Expertise in tracking the current level of commitments, actuals, value of
work done and providing project management with accurate, timely,
rigorous estimates and reports. Prepare and develop appropriate control
budgets from the Project estimate. Prepare cost data for budgets,
commitments, forecasting, reporting and analysis. Work with cost control
tools including EPC Works, BPS and InfoWorks. Develop and maintain
progress including consolidation of calculations and analysis of
contractor and vendor monthly inputs. Ensure correct coding of all
requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, estimates, and
ensuring these are updated and maintained in the company Cost Database.
Scheduling
Planned and Scheduled in Primavera P-3.?Built WBS Structures of projects
assigned to Project Managers. Assigned Milestones to insure deliverables
are met on schedule. Base-lined new schedules and progressed active
?schedules throughout the project life cycle. Communicated project status
to Project Managers, Engineers, Cost Engineers, Construction Managers,
and? Director of Project Controls. Planning and Scheduling of materials
through the schedules. Coordinate with purchasing, production, and
engineering. Familiar with standard scheduling concepts, practices, and
procedures.
Estimating
Interface with Cost Estimator to ensure estimates and studies within a
project stage and for sanction are incorporated into the control budget.
Understand build up of the project estimate.
Project Management of Change
Provide cost input to and implement the cost element of project
management of change procedure. Interface with the Change Coordinators.
Incorporate output from the Management of Change process into cost
reports. Ensure that delivery team cost reports reflects the correct
value for approved changes.
Reporting
Prepare and implement Cost Database, including roll-up levels every
reporting cycle. Developing and issuing various project reports to
appropriate stakeholders including internal Labor Reports for Project
Services.
