assembly of aluminum screen doors, roll forming, powder coating, warehouse and shipping. Worked

directly with customers to resolve complaints and obtain customer feedback on new products.

Responsible for the design and installation of a 1,500 ft powder coat paint line. Implemented production

scheduling program to load shop floor in order to effectively reduce lead times, increase throughput and

respond to customer demands. Designed layout for a new 130,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant, and

directed the move into the new facility. Obtained new permits from SCAQMD, city discharge and fire

department. Coordinated contaminated soil cleanup by working with the State of California and Los

Angeles County. Applied and received reimbursement from Federal EPA Superfund for contaminated

soil cleanup. Implemented continuous improvement procedures at the ground level to totally involve

every employee on improving every aspect of their job

Implemented safety program incentives which reduced accidents by 30% and promoted

attendance. Designed modifications from a “wet” paint line to a combinantion “wet” and powder paint line.

Evacuation Plan, HAZMAT, Cal/OSHA including SB198, and County Fire regulations.

of manufacturing lead times from 6 weeks to 1 week, increase in capacity of 50 % and inventory reduction

of 74 %.

Installed and implemented Kan-Ban inventory replenishment method which streamlined reordering

procedures and maintained inventory levels at a minimum without causing part shortages.
