Designs, constructs and/or validates assembly, manufacturing, and test

equipment/fixtures supporting a Lean manufacturing environment.

Documents new processes and help train operators.

Generates, collects and analyzes test data with respect to normality

assessment and capability to design tolerances and writes technical reports

Responsible for the new product delivery cycle, spanning from product concept

Work with production quote request, including material, engineering, machining,

methodology, manufacturing process flow and outside suppliers quote as well.

Involve with product quality as perceived by the customer and initiation of

associated actions including communication to the customers.

Perform job function at a cross functional team environment with design

•

engineers, quality assurance engineers, marketing, central planning and

manufacturing engineers.

Familiar with manufacturing plant for metal stamping, CNC, die casting, plastic

•

injection, coating, anodizing, and assembly.

Identifies, qualifies, and executes quality improvement/cost savings initiatives

•

on current manufacturing lines as required.

Works with outside suppliers to develop custom manufacturing or test fixtures

•

or equipment where appropriate.

Helps transfer production lines to outside contract manufacturers as required

•

• Design new product start from initial concept, mechanical design, product

testing, problem solving through manufacturing.

• Collaborate with Product engineers, Electronic engineers and Firmware

engineers for PCB layout, components placement, assembly and EMI issues.

• Design computer machine chassis, housing, connectors and cables.
