For over 30 major projects performed the following duties:
. participated in project meeting activities;

. developed inter-platform interfaces (Unix, Mainframe);
. delivered on or ahead of time error-free code on both Unix and
Mainframe platforms(COBOL/DB2/CICS, C++/ORACLE, Unix shell script,
SqlPlus, Spufi);
. provided testing support, including unit and user acceptance testing;
. took active part in post-implementation activities and system
performance improvements.
Was a key developer for re-occurring ITS Releases and ITS on MHS project
to process Home claim on MHS adjudication system.
As a key member of a development team, participated in final implementation
of Blue Cross Point Of Service system. Contributed in analysis and design
of several complex cross-platform systems, including MVS (COBOL/IMS/DB2)
and UNIX (C++/Oracle). Cross-platform systems use Remote Store Procedure
(RSPs) for data accumulation. Personally responsible for design, coding
and implementation of Provider and Manage Care Validation subsystems.
Responsibilities also included: conducting business analysis, design and
work through session, user acceptance test and production implementation.
Participated in Bridge Claims Migration to CIS project. Responsibilities
consisted of writing and enhancing various programs to extract specific
claim data.
Was a key contributor in System Maintenance and Support team:
. provided Production and UAT Systems support, including 24x7 on-call

fixes for thousands production issues and problems;

Senior Programmer/Analyst
Performed the leading role in the implementation of the numerous components
of the provider's information system using COBOLII, DB2 in CICS and batch
environment.
Personally responsible for analysis and development of the new system for
reporting MEMBERSHIP and PROVIDER'S information to the Department of
Public Welfare. Analyzed and modified membership information system per
user's request to new requirements. Participated in the development,
maintenance and support of the COBOLII/DB2/CICS based CLAIMS processing
system. Wrote, tested and was responsible for the block of jobs which
reflects the data interchange between the HEALTH PARTNERS and DORAL SYSTEM
corporation.
Responsible for the system support after implementation. As a DB2/SQL
specialist, provided help to the other members of the team.

Consultant
Participated in Database conversion for the Foster Parents System.
Responsible for creation of the data files that are used for further
loading into ORACLE DB.
The tasks included: design, coding, and testing of COBOL programs, creation
of the copybooks, verification of the loaded data.

Consultant
Participated in the development of the Revenue Recognition System using
COBOL II, DB2, JCL. Activities included: program design, coding, debugging
and testing.
1995 - 1996 Alliance Capital Management Corporation
Consultant
Participated in development of asset management system that provided loan
administration with accurate funding information and assisted the operation
areas in the processing of loans. System provided the facilities for the
input and maintenance of detailed loan information, the production of
payment notifications, and reconcilement of customer confirmation.
Designed, coded, and implemented various parts of the system and report
generation modules.
