Director of Human Resources (2008 to Present)
Directs, designs, and implements all aspects of Human Resources including policies, programs, and practices. Responsible for
ensuring legal compliance with federal and state employment laws as well as inter-departmental regulations (Department of
Social Services and Department of Juvenile Justice). Formulate policies and procedures for the agency and give
recommendations to senior management. Serves as an active member of the agencies Leadership Team. Training, supervision,
and oversight of Human Resource Assistant. Attends board meetings and participates in various social functions and/or

Develops and administers various Human Resource plans and procedures for all employees including an effective

A privately owned skilled nursing facility specializing in three levels of senior care.
Human Resources Assistant (2007 to 2008)
Assist with a broad range of HR functions including personnel and file administration (400+ employees), assist in
benefits/401(k) option enrollment and administration, responsible for conducting pre-screenings of applicants including reference
and background checks, assist in a bi-weekly orientation class. Responsible for verifying nursing certifications on a monthly
basis and the processing of all I-9 forms and documentation.
Outcomes:
Process all new hire paperwork, including application, copies of certifications, and resumes. Process all state and
federal background checks and report to Administration on the results. Complete all reference verifications for
prospective employee in a timely matter; ensure that orientation for employee is scheduled within the first seven days
