a C#.NET component to watermark, dynamically resize, and cache photos. In
2010 it was converted to PHP & MySQL and Gallery3 was added for photo
management. Started using YUI3 in January 2010 for various features, like
search autocomplete, keyword highlighting, and overlays containing the
matching photo thumbnails of a keyword on the page.

Due to a difficult job market, it was decided to sell the house, car, and
many possessions in preparation for a move to an area with a broader job
market. The circumstances of a temporarily unburdened life also permitted
some lengthy travel throughout Western Europe. During this time, numerous
life skills were learned on new levels: adaptability, problem resolution,
stress management, budgeting, planning, self-reliance, independence, and
verbal & non-verbal communication within different societies.
