Sales Executive
Responsible for Sales and Marketing for all markets in
Canada and Hawaii as well as Corporate and Government
account in the United States..
Territory when received in 2006 was valued at $1.3
Million the growth over the last three years has the
value over $5.6 Million.
In first full year growth rate was over 87% a global
record.
During 2008 sales accounted for one third of global
revenue from a team of 30+.
Worked closely with accounts to determine best products
for needs cultivating relationships and understanding
of needs.
I have increased the number of customers at Nature by
over 50% during 2007 and 2008. This growth was the
highest in the America's both years..
Developed new Small banded sales program for
Corporations.
Worked closely in negotiating a partnership with
BIOtechnologies for a global agreement valued over $6

Worked with the Federal governments of Canada and the
United States for National licensing solutions valued

Account Manager
Responsible for Sales and Marketing for Canadian
Federal Government accounts, and West Coast accounts.
Working closely with consortium heads.
Covered for 3 territories from September of 2005
through December of the same year which included
nineteen states and Canada. Maintaining customer
service and processing new leads and revenue
opportunities for all accounts as needed. During this
time generated $500,000 reoccurring new revenue and
enlarged customer base.
Worked with Mississippi to close a 2006 agreement
securing $2 million dollars of revenue in the first
year and a contract value of $12 million.
Closed a 13 site agreement for Colorado and Scopus with
an value of over $500,000
Increased penetration to over 75% of the region, with
varying products in Ministerial groups.
Developed new selling approach approved by management
allowing accounts to purchase more content and
products.
Worked closely with The Counsel for Federal Libraries
of Canada, in the following projects. Analyzing the
benefits from both sides of a National Agreement in
contracts to multiple individual agreements. Closed New
business of over $800,000 in December for a new A and I
database.
2002 - 2003 Elsevier New York, New York
Business Implementation Manager
Reporting directly to the CFO, had responsibility for
all business implementation issues for a $15M Siebel
CRM system and also the post acquisition integration of
a $150 million dollar revenue stream from Academic
Press into Elsevier's $2B sales operation.
Responsible for the introduction of new business models
and for ensuring their smooth integration with existing
Elsevier Science back office systems. Worked closely
with Marketing and Sales to ensure effective
communication to customers of the new business and
pricing models. Worked with the Managing Director,
Global Sales and other sales managers to document the
business model and subsequently manage scope creep
against the target model
Responsible for coordinating a global sizing and
performance task force to ensure adequacy of technology
systems to handle additional workload.
Worked closely with the CFO, Board Members and upper
Management to ensure a successful transition to the new
models, including advising and consulting them on
processes.
Worked with the development team and the impacted
business community to design, build and implement best
practice workflows. Worked with development team to
ensure the newly developed software was addressing
these business needs.
Managed the post-merger Integration of Harcourt 's
business processes into the existing business processes
of Elsevier Science ensuring that the business vision
was understood and reflected in the system design and
detailed business processes. Validated training
materials and implemented a workflow education plan for
the global sales force.
Responsible for communication of the global business
model to all members of the business team and ensuring
that the proposed workflows supported the global
business model and reflected best practices.
1998 - 2001 Calvin Klein Cosmetics Mt. Olive, New
Jersey
Senior Systems Analyst
Project Manager for One World Xe, responsible for
creating project plan, time line and initial budget
outline of $650,000. The project called for 600 plus
users and 20 plus developers. Worked with vendors in
sizing tasks of the A/S 400. Created core team to
outline future tasks and test environment, on A/S 400
and NT servers. Communicated with end-users to
determine business needs in order to prioritize tasks
within the project and roll out order.
Coordinated a team of seven cross-company
representatives chartered to produce a consolidated web
development strategy for Unilever, including selection
of tools and definition of architectural standards.
Lead an international team of fifteen staff to develop
and implement a web based global invoicing system.
Project came in on-time, under budget and to client
satisfaction.
