Worked on various projects involving company's telephony management

outsourcing operations for clients such as Citibank, Reuters, BP Amoco, and

Ryder TRS, as follows:

. Designed and implemented a call record level security/access control

scheme based on Employee ID, Bank Group, Division, Department, Expense

Code, and Switch Location, for accessing Call Detail Reporting (CDR)

system available on Citibank's intranet (Web System). Used Oracle and

ASP.

. Designed and supervised the development of a data transfer system for

extracting Citibank telephony data from electronic billing software CDs

of various vendors (AT&T, Ameritech, Bell South, MCI, Pacific Bell, SNET,

Southwestern Bell, US West, Verizon Bill Manager, Verizon E.Solutions,

and Verizon PowerBill), and loading the data, in a uniform format, into

Citibank's Billing Order Inventory System (BORIS) Oracle database.

Employed Power Builder for implementing UI and accessing source data

through ODBC and saving it as formatted text. Used SQL Loader and PL/SQL

scripts, run from UI through batch commands, for loading data into the

destination database, and processing and inserting the data into

destination tables

. Designed and implemented a data processing/analysis mechanism in MS

Access to facilitate the Citivoice 2000 Switch True Up Project. This

project was undertaken to identify and resolve the discrepancies and

duplications in phone line assignments to the Midtown New York CGTI

switches. The project was completed successfully, resulting in a 58.12%

reduction of trouble report rate for these switches.

. Designed and implemented a data acquisition systems consisting of a

complete set of mechanisms to extract Citibank and Ryder TRS telephony

data from electronic billing software CDs of various vendors (Ameritech,

Bell South, Pacific Bell, SNET, Southwestern Bell, US West/Qwest, Verizon

E.Solutions, and Verizon PowerBill). Used MS Access for accessing source

data through ODBC, implementing UI, processing of data, and exporting

data, as formatted text, for being loaded into MONIES for further

processing. MONIES (The Management of Network Income, Expense and

Services) software is a total communications management system running on

an IBM ES/9000 mainframe in VSE/ESA environment.

Systems Analyst/Programmer

. Implemented major enhancements to the MasterCard Executive Succession

Manager (ESM). ESM is an information system intended to provide a

strategic view of the current and future leaders of MasterCard. It is a

client/server system written in VB 5.0 connecting to back-end SQL Server

6.5 databases. Created reports in Crystal Report 5.0 employing advanced

reporting techniques.

. Working on MasterCard List Management System (LMS):

* Debugged, enhanced and completed the system. LMS is used for

automated management of various information (Mailing List, Contact,

Publications etc.) corresponding to the member banks of MasterCard

all over the world. It is a client/server system which was

originally written in VB 3.0, connecting to back-end SQL Server 4.2

databases. Many automated functionalities are provided using a large

number of Stored Procedures, API functions, and OLE Automation.

* Converted the back-end databases from SQL Server 4.2 to Oracle8, and

upgraded the application to VB 4.0. Created equivalent objects and

mechanisms both in Oracle and VB in order to preserve the

capabilities of the system. This new system was tested successfully

and now has replaced the old one. Continuing with maintenance and

troubleshooting of the system

. Designed and implemented Year 2000 Member Compliance Action Plan and Year

2000 Compliance Program Questionnaire systems used for handling issues

regarding Year 2000 compliance by member banks. Used VB 4.0 and Access

7.0, Created corresponding integrated reports in Crystal Reports 5.0

. Created Management Reports for the Year 2000 Incidents Tracking System

which is developed in Lotus Notes. Used Crystal Reports 5.0 and came up

with innovative techniques both in Lotus Notes and Crystal Reports to

provide high performance reporting from Lotus Notes databases
