Career History

Chief Operating and Marketing Officer, Personnel Staffing, Inc. April

2008 - . Responsible for all company functions from the

corporate office to field sales and operations. Strategic new direction

initiated "Much More than a Staffing Service", implemented a new

consultative selling approach, developed operations differentiators and

quality "WOW" processes.

President of Staffing Solutions, a business unit of Clayton Holdings, a

$350M Intl company, 2005 to 2008. Set strategic direction of the new niche

vertical business unit, including all sales and operational processes,

major account development nationally selling to the C-level. Expanded

services to be offered and set standards of productivity.

President of Central Region, Venturi Staffing Partners, a division of CBS

Personnel Holdings, a $1.5B company, 2004 to 2005. Turned around a losing

region and developed new sales approaches that increased revenues and

improved profitability by $650K. Directed all the sales and operations for

16 major market branches including major accounts.

Vice President of Midwest Region, Volt Services Group, a $3B services

company, 2000 to 2004. Developed aggressive niche marketing plan for

healthcare and financial service industries that increased revenues by

$12M. Directed all major markets in six Midwest states. Managed sales and

operations staff with 12 direct reports.

Chief Operating Officer / Executive Vice President, PrideStaff, Inc., 1994

to 2000. Grew network of offices for this $40M services company from nine

in two states to 34 in 13 states. Developed franchise program, marketed

and spearheaded franchise sales. Implemented strategic sales and field

operations improvements that increased profitability, designed training,

quality processes, and award winning marketing programs.

Group President, The Horizon Group, a division of Career Horizons, Inc., a

$450M company, 1990 to 1994. Acquired and merged six separate companies'

$250M in revenues annually. Developed strategic business plan, mission

statement and services for a start-up division. The division was segmented

into entities for account penetration: healthcare, commercial and

franchising.

Division Vice President and General Manager, Norrell Services, Inc., a

$700M staffing services company. 1980 to 1990. Managed Midwest division

with responsibility for division staff, financial group, five regions, 75

field offices and revenues exceeding $250M with standalone offices for

commercial, healthcare and franchising.

+ Designed, built and marketed a standalone vertical business unit that

increased revenues 35% at Clayton Holdings. Recruited to establish a

standalone vertical niche business unit for Mortgage and Accounting/Finance

professionals in the financial services industry. Formulated marketing

plans, collateral, implemented the strategic selling approach, developed

new operational processes, expanded services to be offered and set

standards of productivity. Represented company at all industry and trade

shows. Increased revenues by 35% and gross margin 40% the first year of the

new spun off business unit.

+ Developed a comprehensive sales approach that increased profitability by

442% at Venturi Partners. Redesigned the sales approach from a Better

People approach to Better Service and Implemented the "TAS" sales

philosophy. The new approach and focus produced an increase in

profitability of $650K.

+ Formulated aggressive sales and marketing plan that increased Volt's

revenues 50% in the Midwest. Devised and implemented an innovative plan

that targeted national and major regional accounts in the Midwest.

Established a targeted list of 50 accounts in the healthcare and financial

services industries and launched a 13 week media blitz through direct mail,

email and regional advertising. The "Spin Selling" approach was utilized.

Re-focused company on personal service for each client. Increased revenues

from $25M to $37M in 2003 despite a stalled hiring environment and

previously declining sales.

+ Structured an organization to transform six acquired companies into a

highly successful start-up division at Career Horizons. Took division to

profitability in just one year. Averaged 30% revenue growth for two years

and increased profits 95%. Restructured sales organization into three

business segments; commercial, franchise and healthcare. Developed sales

teams to cross sell into three business segments. Personally developed

major accounts, centralized all back office operations, and implemented a

common marketing brand, HR processes, training and services to be offered.
