consolidation strategy which successfully
transferred production from Germany, Switzerland and
Mexico to this facility which resulted in 30+% cost
reductions.

production facilities in New Jersey and Toronto,
Canada. Investigated setup and was responsible for a
small appliance contract manufacturing facilities in
Mexico, Hong Kong and China.
Senior Project Engineer
1984-1988 Johnson + Johnson Baby Products,
Skillman, NJ
Complete technical responsibility at a contract
manufacturing facility which represented $18MM of
sales. Was also responsible for Injection Molding
Tooling purchases in Portugal for all new products;
this amounted to 50+ molds per year. Was on Crosby
Quality Control implementation task force.
Project Engineer
1979-1984 Becton Dickinson, Lincoln Park, NJ
Learned extensively about Injection Molding and
Tooling construction on the manufacturing floor. Was
promoted to R+D engineer and worked on the
development of several disposable medical devices.
Managed a three person drafting and design
department. Was chosen to be on the Juran
Statistical Process Control team to implement SPC
throughout the division.
