the standard features of the tax-portal system such as web receipts,
automated email notifications, security, secure remote administration, ACH
electronic payments, and Helpdesk is available to the user. It is
implemented using the 3 tiered architecture using Internet Explorer as the
client tier, COM objects as the middle tier, and MS SQL Server 2000 as the
database tier.
Responsibilities include:
. Responsible for design HTML, ASP pages in this application. MS Visual
InterDev was used in the front-end design and Form validations were
done using JavaScript.
. Wrote the COM objects (Business Objects and Data Objects) using Visual
Basic (6.0). The COM objects were used in the middle-tier. XML files
were used In the ACH transactions.
