I photograph a variety of events including news, sports, weddings, social

events and portraiture. I own Nikon equipment along with flashes and

remotes. Additionally, I am proficient in multi-media including video and

audio slideshows. I have experience using the programs Photoshop, iMovie,

Final cut Pro and Audacity.

Staff Photographer (40+ hours a week)

Northwest Arkansas Times Apr. 2003 to Oct. 2009

Fayetteville, Arkansas

Northwest Arkansas Times is a mid-size daily newspaper affiliated with

the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. I photograph and provide captions for

local news, sports events, features and I make multi-media

presentations. I used digital Nikon equipment, Photoshop, Photo

Mechanic, iMovie, Final Cut Pro and video equipment.

America Online Aug. 2002 to Feb. 2003

I was a photo editor responsible for obtaining promotional images for

AOL's Entertainment/Movie/TV sections. I used PhotoShop to color

correct and resize the photographs.

As photo intern for The Hill, a Washington, DC weekly newspaper

specializing in national non-partisan political coverage, I served in

the regular rotation covering congressional events as directed by

Photo Editor Tom Butler.

Loudoun Times-Mirror May-August 2000 and 2001

For two consecutive summers I was a photo intern for the Loudoun Times

Mirror, a weekly newspaper with a 2-3 person photo department. I went

out on assignments as directed by reporters and scanned and color

corrected images in PhotoShop. I served in the regular photo rotation

shooting community events, news, sports and features.

In October 2008 I was commissioned to photograph images for an educational

book the Smithsonian is putting out across the country.

Paul Thomas October 2001

In October 2001 professional body builder and personal trainer Paul

Thomas commissioned me to shoot his 2003 calendar. We shot three

outdoor and studio sessions.

What's Up? Magazine August 2001

Annapolis, Maryland

I was commissioned to cover the First Manassas Civil War Reenactment

(August 4-5, 2001) outside Leesburg, VA for What's Up? Magazine. My photos

appeared on the cover of the October 2001 issue with five additional images

published inside.
