Multidisciplinary Senior Design Project

Electronic Cigarette Evaluation System

Acted as Lead Engineer to oversee a team of Mechanical and Industrial

Engineers in order to design and build a machine to evaluate the nicotine

enriched vapors produced by an electronic cigarette while simulating a

normal puff profile. The significance of the project is to determine if

there are carcinogens in the particulate or vapor phase, which may cause

health risks. Primarily responsible for the integration of subsystems into

the final product. Acted as a primary contact between team members, the

customer, and industry leaders, Edward Hanzlik and Dr Risa Robinson.

Design Projects

Renewable Energy Systems

Created a technical design solution to incorporate a photovoltaic system

that is capable of providing power to the RIT campus. For this project

commercial photovoltaic panels were selected and an assessment was

performed to determine the technical feasibility, economic viability and

environmental impact.
