Responsible for a District of Twelve Self Storage properties, both Owned and Managed .Worked with Store
Managers to increase profitability and sales while reducing costs and losses. Work with Managers to
maintain appearance of property, search for contractors and vendors. Maintain records and contracts.
Recruit and train employees. Create Marketing Strategies. Increased Occupancy from 76% to78% and
Income from $775,000 to $825,000, (both highest in Company). Only District to have positive Net over
Income in both 2007 and 2008.

Operations Manager
Responsible for the start and operation of the retail side of the Smithsonian Institution’s Siguide project.
Responsible for writing the Operations Manual, Training Manual and Training Class program. Wrote and
instituted policy and procedure documentation. Worked with the IT Staff to enhance product features,
trouble shooting manual and operational software. Worked with Museum staff to enhance the Visitor’s
experience.

Field Consultant (District Manager)
Responsible for a District of Nine Stores (6 w/Gasoline). Worked with Store Managers to increase
profitability and sales while reducing costs and losses. Same store Sales were up 9.1% (highest in market),
had 2 Stores in the Top 10 in the Division and 2 of the Top 3 in the Market. Operating earnings up 11.2%
(third in Market), Gross Profit up 7.53%. Prepared reports for corporate use. Sales increased the past six
years.
US Order, Inc. August 1994-August 1996
Collections Manager
Established the Collections Department. Developed and instituted tracking and collections procedures.
Designed collections and statistical reports for Corporate use. Achieved a collection rate over 93%. Total
collections of over $1,000,000 in two years. Headed a project that retrieved over $250,000 of outstanding
rental units. Also responsible for maintaining billing cycles, inventory records, vendor billing relations,
cash investment levels, cash projections, budget analysis and interfacing with outside Collection Agencies.
Baskin-Robbins January 1992- August 1994
District Manager
Responsible for a District of Forty Stores. Worked with Franchisees to increase profitability and sales,
while reducing costs and losses. Identified sites for new locations, set-up training classes and helped first
