Primary practitioner in the office when the doctor is unavailable.
See approximately twenty patients a day.
See a variety of patients on a daily basis, from acute illnesses to
monitoring people with chronic conditions such as heart disease and
diabetes; develop treatment plans as indicated.
Perform yearly physical exams on patients; order and interpret laboratory
work, EKG's, imaging studies when appropriate, and treat accordingly.
Perform follow-ups with patients to review test results, explain the
results to the patients in a way that they can understand so we can
initiate treatment plans developed for them.
Keep track of patient's immunization history, and gave proper vaccinations

Talk with patients on the phone concerning their symptoms and determine
course of action to be taken.
Perform rounds at local nursing homes three to four times a week for
patient visits, including new patient admissions.
Keep in regular contact with the nurses at the nursing homes for follow-ups
and emergencies.

Internal Medicine: Frankford-Bucks Hospital, Langhorne, PA July 2006-

Worked with interns and residents attending to the financially diverse
population of Bucks County
Rounded with the intern on patients assigned to the general medical team
Wrote progress notes and admitted patients from the ER
Primary Care: Prime Health Network, Havertown, PA August 2006-October 2006
Saw 10-15 patients a day at internal medicine office with the PA-doctor
